“BIO-CODE / THE CODES OF NATURE”

Ege University Faculty of Fashion and Design organizes the 3rd International Online Mixed Exhibition on Cultural Designs and Sustainability. This year’s exhibition theme, “Bio-Code / The Codes of Nature” brings together the structural, functional, and aesthetic intelligence of nature with creative practice.

Representing the intersection of art and design, the exhibition unites sensory and experiential works such as installation, painting, sculpture, textile, and ceramic art with functional disciplines including fashion and industrial design under a shared conceptual framework. When line, color, form, and surface are reinterpreted through inspiration from biological structures, ecosystems, and natural processes, each artwork reveals the intelligence, rhythm, and functionality of nature, reconstructing the codes of life in an intuitive and sensory manner.

In this context, the 3rd International Online Mixed Exhibition, organized by Ege University Faculty of Fashion and Design, aims to bring together the works of artists and designers who think with nature and to integrate ecological knowledge with the ethical, aesthetic, and sustainable dimensions of contemporary art and design.
